Expressed almost exclusively in the intestine. Expression is especially high in both the duodenum and transverse colon. Expressed in mature absorptive cells of the small intestinal villi. No expression is detected in goblet cells. Highly expressed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma tissue (at protein level).
