Function Beta-1,3-galactosyltransferase that transfers galactose from UDP-galactose to substrates with a terminal beta-N- acetylglucosamine (beta-GlcNAc) residue. Can also utilize substrates with a terminal galactose residue, albeit with lower efficiency.
