Disease Associations
Tissue Specificity Broadly expressed, with high levels in muscle, brain, heart, pancreas and testis. In the central nervous system, highest levels are detected in the cerebellum and pituitary gland. Over-expressed in brains from patients with bipolar disease or schizophrenia.
