Tissue Specificity Widely expressed. Abundant in testis, where it is expressed in seminiferous tubules, not in the interstitium. At the cellular level, expressed in primary spermatocytes and round spermatids, but not detectable in spermatogonia, elongating spermatids, mature spermatozoa, Sertoli cells or Leydig cells.
