Gene Symbol INTS7
Protein Name Integrator complex subunit 7
Synonyms
Species Bos taurus
Ensembl Protein ENSBTAP00000024684
InnateDB Gene IDBG-638178 (INTS7)
Protein Structure
UniProt Annotation
Function Component of the Integrator complex, a complex involved in the small nuclear RNAs (snRNA) U1 and U2 transcription and in their 3'-box-dependent processing. The Integrator complex is associated with the C-terminal domain (CTD) of RNA polymerase II largest subunit (POLR2A) and is recruited to the U1 and U2 snRNAs genes. Plays a role in DNA damage response (DDR) signaling during the S phase (By similarity). {ECO:0000250}.
Subcellular Localization Nucleus {ECO:0000250}. Chromosome {ECO:0000250}. Note=Localizes to sites of DNA damage in a H2AX- independent manner. {ECO:0000250}.
