Gene Symbol RSPH9
Protein Name Radial spoke head protein 9 homolog
Synonyms C23H6orf206; C6orf206;
Species Bos taurus
Ensembl Protein ENSBTAP00000012563
InnateDB Gene IDBG-631904 (RSPH9)
Protein Structure
UniProt Annotation
Function Probable component of the axonemal radial spoke head (By similarity). Radial spokes are regularly spaced along cilia, sperm and flagella axonemes. They consist of a thin stalk, which is attached to a subfiber of the outer doublet microtubule, and a bulbous head, which is attached to the stalk and appears to interact with the projections from the central pair of microtubules. {ECO:0000250}.
Subcellular Localization Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, cilium axoneme {ECO:0000305}. Note=Radial spoke. {ECO:0000305}.
