Summary |
[Homo sapiens] SRXN1 is transcriptionally regulated by NFE2L2 in immunostimulated primary macrophages that produce both reactive oxygen species and nitric oxide. The nitric oxide/NFE2L2/SRXN1 pathway participates in the maintenance of redox homeostasis in cytokine-activated macrophages and other inflammatory settings. (Demonstrated in murine model)
[Mus musculus] Srxn1 is transcriptionally regulated by Nfe2l2 in immunostimulated primary macrophages that produce both reactive oxygen species and nitric oxide. The nitric oxide/Nfe2l2/Srxn1 pathway participates in the maintenance of redox homeostasis in cytokine-activated macrophages and other inflammatory settings.
