Summary |
[Homo sapiens] Nuclear ZMYND11 is recruited by oligomerized, cytoplasmic TICAM1 to enhance NF-kappaB activation and type-I-interferon induction. ZMYND11 harbours dual modes of cytoplasmic NF-kappaB regulation, positively in the TICAM1 pathway and negatively in the PDLIM7 (LMP1) pathway.
[Homo sapiens] ZMYND11 cooperates with TRAF3 in the regulation of Epstein-Barr virus-derived LMP1/CTAR1-induced NF-kappaB activation.

Summary |
This gene does not have any Entrez summary - the following is the summary from its human ortholog ENSG00000015171:
The protein encoded by this gene was first identified by its ability to bind the adenovirus E1A protein. The protein localizes to the nucleus. It functions as a transcriptional repressor, and expression of E1A inhibits this repression. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
